Yay Dad!
November 7th, 2007
What a long, strange trip it’s been. D. and I have always joked that Dad was a politician. Everywhere we went in the county, Dad knew everybody. We never really thought he’d actually run.
I’m totally proud of him. In business, we talk about stepping out of the box and away from your comfort zone. With Dad, he ended up about as far out of his comfort zone as he could possibly be. But at the same time, he was still Dad. And I think that’s what won the election for him.
So way to go. You can now rest until January.

Yes, we are all proud of him, not only for winning but the way that he won. yes it is possible to run a clean campaign and win. Your dad does not usually show much excitement but last night he giving the fist pump. Sorry I missed that picture. Maybe Judy got it.
YAY! YAY! YAY!
Integrity! YAY!
CONGRATULATIONS!
You should all be very proud of your dad and of you and your family’s hard work to help him get elected. Here’s to many good decisions on his part and making some change where needed for your community there.
Congratulations again to your dad and everyone!
